hello 2006!
i really am getting a little too lazy to blog these days seeing that my last post was around christmas. but it seems kind of obligatory to welcome the new year so i shall post some stuff that happened over the past month or so. amidst watching 大长今 and Full House (all MUST WATCH!!), managed to squeeze in some other less anti-social activities :)
well, first, my room has been painted PINK. hee hee. initially, i wanted to say "we painted the room" but i think it is more accurate to say chongwee painted the room while jiaying dabbed at the corners, stepped on paint and almost tripped over the entire paint can. so in a nutshell, i was incredibly useful :)

after that, we had jiamin's bday...
and then the new year which was spent playing pool at dan's place. and staring at his new house floor plan which look EXTREMELY exciting :)
Then we had CHRISCO!!!
steamboat and BBQ dinner this year was relatively fun though the chalet was rather crumbly... so much so that the girls (me, merly and wendy) decided to come back to my place to shower while the driver boys grumbled at how spoilt we are. hee...
merly the accountant collects money while jiaying (ahem, the lawyer to be) snatches them away and gives a "money grubber" look; the boys do a pyramid; daniel squeezes into a photo...
AND THEN school started....
it is officially the LAST semester of studying!!! it is cliche but i really can't believe it is the last sem. all that struggling through legal writing and public law and tan yock lin machine-gun lectures and assignments, this is IT. i shall try my very best to enjoy mysef though it was somewhat depressing to receive this huge stack of notes in the mailbox. and chongwee asked if that evidence stack was for the entire sem. IF ONLY. that is only the introduction!!!
in other news, my brother is coming back TODAY!!! while i am happy to see him, having him back means that i will not be able to see much of my floor or my table top while he is back and sharing the room. SO jiaying has cleverly implemented the "Everything In The Box" scheme! basically, he has to keep everything that vaguely belongs to him in the box. however, i somehow feel it will turn into a "everything everywhere" scheme. sigh.
